P.J. Walsh were large-scale antique dealers and manufacturers in Dublin in the late 19th Century. The 1st Earl of Iveagh was an important client and fifteen lots of both antique and late 19th Century furniture bearing Walsh's trade label were sold from Elveden in Christie's house sale, 21-24 May 1984, (see: D. FitzGerald, 'Dublin Directories and Trade Labels', Furniture History, 1985, p. 272)
