The present examples are recorded in the archives as follows, "2 vase Anthophore fond beau bleu riche décoration en or et platine" came to the shop on 6th March 1838 (Musée Nationale de Céramique de Sèvres Archives, Registre VV3, folio 33, no. 46); the cost price of each is valued at 307.50 francs and the sale price at 350 francs. The two vases were later delivered "à la conservation du mieulieu de la couronne pour l'ameullement du Château de Pau" about July 1841 (MNS, Archives, Registre Vbb10, folio 57)
