A MEISSEN CALLOT FIGURE OF THE HOUSEKEEPER perhaps modelled by Georg Fritzche, in a high braided hat, white jacket, apron and skirt, puce bodice with gilt central section, a chatelaine hanging from a belt at her waist, standing holding out her apron, on a flared octagonal stepped plinth enriched with a gilt band (restoration to neck, left shoulder and rim of base, chip to back of base and left side of her apron, slight rubbing to gilding and gilding to lapels retouched), lustre B to underside of base, 1720-25
