A MEISSEN LOBED TEACUP AND SAUCER, each on six gilt branch feet with applied gilt flowering branches and entwined gilt branch handle and flower terminals, painted after Watteau, the interior of the cup with a lady seated and the saucer with a gallant and two ladies in a sepia wooded landscape vignette, the exterior of the cup and underside of the saucer with scattered Holzschnitt Blumen and insects, the rims enriched with gilt scrolls and anthemion (two flowers to saucer chipped), blue crossed swords mark to saucer, circa 1740
