Häuer with merchants in harbour scenes and ships at sail in the distance within gilt quatrefoil cartouches, the cover with a similar scene and a sailing ship, gilt line rims (cracked through top of handle), blue crossed swords mark, gilder's L. within an irregular shield to both pieces, circa 1735
