A DIAMOND-ENGRAVED BALUSTER WINE-GLASS, the funnel bowl with a teared solid lower part and engraved with an heraldic device, a shield within a sun in splendour surrounded by the motto SOL JUSTITIÆ ILLUSTRATA NOS, the reverse with a seated figure emblematic of the Arts beneath a tree and the inscription PALLAS TRAIECTINA SEMPER AUGUSTA, below the motto HONOS ALIT ARTES, supported on an angular knop above a basal knop, on a domed and folded foot, circa 1720
