The movement does not carry any manufacturers' name or mark; on the dial plate is punched 49 and in the bottom of the bowl 3549. The hour and minute hands are both numbered 3549. However this is undoubtedly a W.W.2 German chronometer almost certainly by Wempe Chrometerwerke of Hamburg
