Wood Scarboro' within the foliate engraved centre with central silvered alarm disc, silvered chaper ring with pierced blued hands, foliate spandrels, silvered strike/silent disc in the arch, the five pillar twin gut fusee movement with unusual silent tic-tac escapement, the pendulum composed of two blued steel strips with fine adjustment and counter-balanced crutch-piece, all wheels (except 'scape) with six crossings, pull wind alarm with open-ended spring mounted on the backplate, strike/trip repeat from either side on bell above, the winding squares with blued shutters operated from draw-string to right side, the plain backplate with unusual pendulum holdfast and securing brackets to the case
