A PAIR OF PARIS (HONORÉ) GREEN-GROUND PEAR-SHAPED VASES AND PIERCED STANDS with acanthus handles, painted with flowers within mirror-shaped gilt scroll cartouches flanked by relief-moulded acanthus conjoined by scrolls and palmettes, the grounds gilt with scrolls, beads and garlands below reeded white and gilt flared necks, on four gilt scroll feet, the waisted stands pierced with interlaced scrolling foliage (gilding rubbed, three feet repaired, one handle re-stuck, one stand with parts of leaves lacking, the other chipped and cracked), iron-red printed marks, circa 1840-1850
