A MEISSEN (OUTSIDE-DECORATED) OVAL DISH with a Dulong moulded border, the centre painted in a muted Autumnal palette with figures in a shrubby landscape beside a stream, a woman holding a lamb and another with a basket, acoompanied by a man playing the pipes and three putti, the borders with four pairs of putti in smaller vignettes, the moulded details of the border enriched in pink lustre and gilding (some wear to gilding and glaze on rim, very slight scratches to enamels in centre), cancelled blue crossed swords and star mark, Pressnummern 4 and 42, the porcelain late 18th Century, the decoration late 19th Century
