A PAIR OF MEISSEN DARK-BLUE-GROUND VASES AND DOMED COVERS of slender elongated pear shape with large pink flower and leaf finials, one painted with a named view of Weinbergs-Palais des Königs, the other with Belvedere auf der Brühl: Terz: zu Dresden, the reverses with loose bouquets and scattered insects, all within gilt scroll quatrefoil cartouches, the grounds enriched overall with a network of seeded gilt vermiculé lines enclosing dots and stars, on short everted feet and with gilt line rims (small chips to finials, slight wear on necks), blue crossed swords marks, black script titles on footrims, circa 1880
