Kändler, seated on a barrel, wreathed in vine and wearing a fringed leopard-pelt attended by a maiden pouring wine into a goblet held by a young faun and with Cupid pouring wine from the barrel, on a shaped rocky base modelled with a tree-stump festooned with vine and with a gilt line border (chips to vine and other extremities, restoration to Bacchus's hands, staff and goblet), blue crossed swords mark, Pressnummer 101, incised C. 354., circa 1880
