Lot Essay

The present work is a study for Trois Prêtresses (Wildenstein no. 645) and Les Deux Grâces (Wildenstein no. 646). Compare also with the lithograph Les Prêtresses furent en Attente of 1886 from the album La Nuit.

To be included in the supplement to the first volume of the Redon catalogue raisonné now being prepared by the Wildenstein Institute (temporary number 93.06.10/1658/2545).
