Roman type, 28 lines PRINTED ON VELLUM, 12pp., calendar, 16 FULL-PAGE METALCUT ILLUSTRATIONS and 24 smaller illustrations in the text, all finely painted and illuminated in gold and colours, initials illuminated in gold, red and blue, verso of final leaf with Hardouyn's device of a shield with 12 castles, uncoloured (lacking title with Hardouyn's other device; many signatures cropped). 18th-century brown morocco gilt, red and gold endpapers, g.e., 18th-century signature of Samuel Knight.
