2° (298 x 200mm). Preface and 3 section titles with elaborate woodcut border, extensively illustrated with woodcuts throughout, mostly half-page, several repeated. (Title with contemporary ownership inscription erased, some light browning and spotting, outer margin of vv3 trimmed, not affecting text, very slight worming to last three quires.) Contemporary blind-stamped calf, central panel of Venus and Cupid on front cover stamped in gilt (spine and front joint repaired, lacking clasps). Adams L-1359; Graesse IV, p. 232.
