Maker's mark of J. King, London, 1773
Inverted pear-form, on spreading circular base, the base and body chased with husk swags and paterae, the lower body and cover chased with acanthus, with wood loop handle, with partly fluted, leaf capped, scroll spout, the hinged slightly raised cover with writhen finial --6½in. (16.51cm.) high, gross weight 18oz.
