engraving, late 16th Century, rare, the margins (if any) concealed by mounting paper and folded to back board, a tear upper right, another at the bottom, stained and foxed, other lesser defects, L. 234 x 308 mm.; and A Ferry with Soldiers (de G. & C. 37)

Another impression of Lari 106 was sold at Sotheby's London on 17 March 1966 (lot 52, repr.) and is similar in style to the two engravings formerly in the collection of Colonel William Stirling of Keir (see Christie's New York, 14 May 1991, lots 27-8, illustrated) (2)
