lithographs printed in colours, 1950, on Marais wove paper, first state (before the orange and dark-beige stones and with the title in French below the subject) and final state, each signed and dated in pencil, the first state inscribed 'Trial Proof/Ist state', proofs aside from the published edition of 183, with margins, deckle edges at the right, one or two minor foxmarks in the margins well away from the subject, some slight mount-staining, otherwise generally in good condition, framed
