The inverted ovoid body on rising circular base, the base chased with two roaring lion's masks divided by flowers and scrolls, the body chased with two Watteauesque pastoral figural scenes, centering a maiden on horse back holding aloft a falcon, with castle behind, each enclosed by scrolls, divided by flowers, engraved below Dr. Thomas M. Markoe. A TOKEN OF LOVE AND GRATITUDE FROM THE FIVE SONS OF LAURA VIRGINIA WEBB JANUARY 1890, with crowned maiden's mask below broad spout, the angular handle applied with ram's mask--17in. (43cm.) high, 56oz.
