(9cm.) high, both late Naqada II/Naqada III, circa 3300-3000 B.C.; a broad shouldered squat jar, with twin lug handles, the body decorated in red with a series of arcs, from the top of which emerges a (palm) branch, and lines above and along the handles, circa 3300-3000 B.C., 6in. (15.2cm.) high; and three other decorated Predynastic jars, with possible repainting, circa 3300-3000 B.C., 1½ to 4in. (3.8 to 10cm.) high
