A COMPLETE MIDDLE ASSYRIAN CLAY TABLET, with 18 lines of text on the obverse, lower edge and reverse, a legal contract reading: "Five donkey loads, one bushel of barley, which Silli-Adad, son of Adad-mushashri, is owed by Samu, son of Kurbanni, of the town(?) ...nash. He received it for grinding for a banquet. He must grind it and hand it over. Then he can make an accounting and his tablet will be broken. Month Allanatu, 9th day, limu-officer, Enlil-nadin-apli." Seal impressions on both sides showing two confronting animal heads, minor chips to lower left corner, reign of King Tukulti-Ninurta I, circa 1245-1208 B.C., 5.7 x 4.6 x 1.6cm.; and another tablet, with 13 lines of text on the obverse, lower edge and upper part of the reverse, an undated administrative document listing quantities of a certain commodity, kubari, chip to upper left corner not affecting text, repaired, circa 1400-1100 B.C., 6.5 x 8.3 x 1.7cm.
