A VILLANOVAN SHEET GOLD ORNAMENT, of oval form with border folded over, decorated with repoussé concentric circles, meandering swastikas and step pattern, the suspension attachment at the top of rolled sheet gold decorated with three repouss/ae lotus flowers, repaired, circa 7th Century B.C.; 3¾in. (9.5cm.) across; and two biconical gold beads, with rounded terminals, the bodies decorated with repoussé herringbone pattern, early 1st millennium B.C., 2in. (5cm.) long max. (3)
