A CONTINENTAL SEVEN-PIECE SILVER ORCHESTRA
Probably German, late 19th century, six with English import marks for B. Müller, London, Chester and Glasgow, circa 1900, one figure unmarked
Each seated on a chair with lacy back, each figure with barrel form body, the detachable neck with lacy ribbon-tied ruff below nodding head, each wearing a hat, playing a: French horn, a trombone, a trumpet, a pair of cymbals, a drum and two with cello--average height 7¼in. (18.4cm.) high, gross weight 94oz. (7)
