Shaped-circular and with gadrooned borders, later engraved with a coat-of arms with Earl's coronet above, marked on reverse, numbered and engraved with scratch weight - 9½in. (24cm.) diam.

The arms are those of Yorke impaling Lindsay for Philip, 3rd Earl of Hardwicke, K.G., P.C. (1757-1834) and his wife Elizabeth, daughter of James, 5th Earl of Balcarres, whom he married in 1782. (12)
