Provenance
Given in gratitude to Colonel Herbert Tasker, the present owner's grandfather, in New York in June 1920 (and thought to have been purchased from a Potthast one-man show in New York in June 1920) by the directors of the Flour and Milling Industry in the United States (the Wheat Export Council of America). Colonel Tasker was in the United States in 1917-20 purchasing flour for the Allies in the Great War.
