2d. Black, carbon copies, initialled in red ink, S.G.30c
24 were produced, consisting of a sheet of twenty-four stamps from Plate 1. All were typewritten carbon copies in black. 9 unused examples, including one in the Royal collection, and two used examples, consisting of one used on piece and one used on cover back (see lot 20), have been recorded. No multiple has been recorded. Some may have been among the remainders of the 2d. black carbon copies, initialled in idelible pencil, destroyed, but no separate record was kept.
