2½d. Mauve, S.G.34 24 were produced, consisting of a sheet of twenty-four stamps from Plate 2. All were typewritten carbon copies in mauve. It is thought that 6 unused examples, including a single in the Royal collection and 4 used examples, consisting of two loose, one used on cover back in combination with S.G.3 and S.G.20, and one used on cover (in the National Postal Museum), have been rcorded. No remainders were destroyed. No multiples are known to exist; however, it is possible that an unused horizontal pair [21-22] may exist in which case there would be 8 recorded unused examples. Plate 2
unused Single, marginal at right, unused; corner creasing at top right, mostly in the sheet margin, otherwise fine and rare.
