144 were produced, consisting of six sheets of twenty-four stamps, with three sheets from Plate 2 and three sheets from Plate 3. All were typewritten carbon copies in black. Some 66 unused examples, including two blocks of eight, five blocks of four, one strip of four, and a vertical pair including the 2d. and 6d. se-tenant, and five used examples, consisting of two singles on pieces and a strip of three including the 2d. and 6d. se-tenant, have been recorded. 40 remainders were destroyed and some of these may have been top impressions.
