Judge William Jessop (1665-1734), M.P. of Broom Hall, Yorkshire. He was justice of Chester. He married Mary, daughter of James, 1st Lord d'Arcy. Their daughter Isabella married John Eyre Gell, High Sheriff of Derby in 1691 and heir to his aunt, Miss Temperance Gell (died 1730) and the estate of Hopton
