A GEORGE III MAHOGANY ARCHITECT'S DESK, the hinged top with a foliate decorated simulated panel front enclosing a fitted interior with drawers and pigeon-holes, containing a frieze drawer with interlaced blind-fret decoration revealing a leather-lined sliding writing surface concealing compartments with a drawer to either side, on columnar and similarly carved fretwork legs with block feet, written in chalk in one drawer Lord Lonsdale's Rent Table -- 56¼in.
