A PAIR OF SILVERED AND GILT BEDSIDE COMMODES of shaped outline, each with a simulated marble top with a double moulded edge, fitted with two drawers with incised interlaced ribband ornament with similarly decorated sides between foliate angles, the apron with rocaille and cabochon ornament, on bulbous cabriole legs headed with cartouches joined by a rocaille and C-scroll carved undertier with a hinged oval padded rest, on shaped feet, Roman, mid 18th Century -- 24in. (61cm.) wide, 32½in. (82.5cm.) high, 14in. (35.5cm.) deep (2)
