Note: Only four covers are known bearing the 5/- on 1/- (three of which have the red line), all are backstamped with the Sherbro double-arc d.s. that is only recorded used in this manner. It is considered that these covers are either philatelic or forged, see "The Postal Service of Sierra Leone" by P.O. Beale pp 148-149, and "The Philatelist" of April 1971
