Vase-shaped and on circular domed foot cast and applied with bands of beading and husks, the body with acathus foliage, beading and ribbon-tied drapery swags and with leaf-capped scroll handles, the spool-shaped cover similarly chased with foliage and with detachable spirally fluted finial, marked on body and cover, the finial unmarked, 17in. (43cm.) high
