numbered and inscribed by Gould 'Leggs (sic) are said to be pale green/perhaps only the young and winter birds/see (Vol 5)...' and with inscription on the mount 'J. Wolf/Ancylocheilus subarquata/Curlew Sandpiper'; pencil and watercolour heightened with white and gum arabic
