A RARE GOLD AND ENAMEL GARTER RING
The narrow band set at the front with an emerald and rose-cut diamond cluster buckle and inscribed in gilt letters on deep blue ground 'Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense', the hoop dividing to reveal memorial hair compartment around inner wall (enamel restored), circa 1800, with French control marks, finger size U 1/2
