Sercial--Solera 1860
Bottled in London by Evans Marshall (Cossart Gordon's agents). Labelled
1860: production "very small but generally very good, especially Sercial".
Several consisitent notes: medium pale, amber; glorious, high-toned, scented, refined bouquet, crystallised violets, carnations; lean, assertive, but elegant. Typically attenuated dry acididic finish. Beguiling, exciting. (M.B.)
