This drawing is possibly the preparatory drawing for the seated lady on the left of the oil painting Hinter den Kulissen (Neue Pinakothek, Munich, inv. no. 9361) (G. Roennefahrt, Carl Spitzweg, Munich, 1960, p. 290, WV1382) of circa 1860, which is also stamped with the Nachlass mark.
