The inscription below seems to have been added slightly later. It records the completion of the Hajj and details of all stages of it, by 'Abd al-Rahim b. Shaikh 'Umar, and Indian who settled in Nayir(?). It is dated 9 Dhu'l-Hijja AH 1194/7 December 1780 AD in Mecca. The signatures of the witnesses, however, Agha Zamarrud, Yahya b. Ahmad Fadil Zamzami, Agha Jawahir and Agha Almas appear to all be in the same hand. The names of the three Aghas curiously translate as ruby, gems and diamond and are very possibly later additions.
