a commentary on Avicenna's famous work on medecine with further marginal commentary by another author, Arabic manuscript on buff paper and coloured paper, 114ff. plus seven flyleaves, each with 57ll. of neat black naskh, lines in red, original text of Avicenna overlined in red, some words in larger script, copious marginal commentary in black, red and maroon, ff.44v. and 54r. containing a table in red and black, ff.62-102 with the text written over panels of variously coloured paper, (edges frayed, some repairs, light smudging, staining and worming, folios slightly loose, possibly misbound or incomplete), maroon morocco binding (worn)
