A LATE SASSANIAN OR EARLY ISLAMIC MASSIVE TURQUOISE GLAZED STORAGE JAR of baluster form with sloping shoulder, short neck and everted lip, the body moulded under the glaze with two bands of rope-motifs and also incised with vertical panels, circa 8th/10th century (areas of iridescence, very slight repair)
