A SYRIAN HEMISPHERICAL BOWL on high flaring central foot, the white interior painted with radiating black chevron bands alternating with panels of diagonal rows of cruciform motifs divided by simple cobalt lines, the centre with a black and blue rosette, the exterior with a band of interwoven black and blue zigzags above radiating black lines, 14th century (intact, slight glaze iridescence)
