A KASHAN MOULDED LUSTRE, COBALT-BLUE AND TURQUOISE RECTANGULAR TILE moulded with an arched band of blue naskh calligraphy on a lustre scrolling ground between turquoise lines enclosing a panel of arabesque interlace, the spandrels with flying cranes and clouds, the upper register with a band of stylised kufic on a lustre ground with turquoise and white palmettes, late 13th century (intact, lustre faded in areas)
