A FINE SAFAVID LUSTRE SAUCER DISH with rounded sides on short foot, the white interior painted in a rich brown lustre with a central peacock amongst scrolling foliage by a stylised stream in a shaped surround, the sides with rope-pattern, the exterior with a broad band of diagonal leaves separating floral sprays, second half 17th century (very slight rim chips, body crack)
