A MINTON PORCELAIN PART WASH-STAND SERVICE, in the Sèvres style, the moulded bodies printed and coloured with leafy sprays of pink sweet peas, the foliage-moulded rims and acanthus-moulded handles edged in pale blue, comprising two footed baluster jugs (both with riveted repairs at base), 12½in. (32cm.) high, three circular bowls (one cracked and with associated chip, one cracked), 14½in. (37cm.) diam., a smaller circular bowl, 9½in. (24.5cm.) diam., a two-handled footed sponge-bowl and liner (one handle lacking), two toothbrush-holders and three covers with pine-cone finials (one broken), 7½in. (19cm.) long and a soap-dish and three covers with pine-cone finials, 4¾in. (12cm.) diam. (some general wear to enamels), circa 1845-50
