A STAFFORDSHIRE PART WASH-STAND SERVICE printed in underglaze blue and painted in Imari colours with the 'Hong Kong' pattern of pagodas and figures greeting on bridges in river landscapes, comprising a large fluted oviform jug with a double scroll handle, acanthus spout and shell-moulded grip (large chip to foot, smaller chip to grip), 16¼in. (41.5cm.) high, a pair of fluted baluster jugs, 13½in. (34cm.) high, a pair of smaller baluster jugs (handles repaired), 9½in. (24cm.) high, a bowl (repaired and chipped), 15in. (38cm.) diam., a toothbrush-holder and cover (chipped), 8in. (20cm.) long, a soap-dish and cover, and a liner for a sponge-bowl, impressed marks within a lozenge, pattern number 784, probably Charles Meigh
