Album containing thirty-seven pages of ink manuscript text followed by sixty-one albumen prints and three salt prints, these lightly hand-tinted, sizes approx. 3 1/8 x 2 1/8 in. to 5½ x 8 1/8 in., variously mounted, front blank and paste-down lined with silk, green morocco, titled Clara in gilt and with decorative gilt border on front cover, g.e., 4to.

Including portraits of Lord and Lady Palmerston, Lady Jocelyn Vandermeer and Lady Shaftesbury posed on the steps at Broadlands, Palmerston's Hampshire estate. It is possible that the photographs were taken by Lady Jocelyn.
