A FINE ISFAHAN PRAYER RUG, the ivory field with a bold burgundy balaster vase containing arabesques issuing a profusion of floral sprays with pirching birds flanked by entwined flowering trees with further perching birds, the shaded raspberry red mihrab arch with scrolling arabesques, in an indigo border of flowering trees and perching birds together with a variety of animals between raspberry-red meandering floral and reciprocal patterned stripes, (very slight wear in a few places.)
