The shaped-triangular base on three rosette and palmette feet and with egg-and-dart border, the circular lamp applied with three sphinx masks, the frame supported by three winged monopodiae sphinx busts, the vase shaped jug with applied classical decoration and with ivory scroll handle terminating in a female mask, engraved with a crest, the underside of the frame and jug engraved 'William Otter Gibbs', fully marked - 13in. (33cm.) high
