Shaped-oval and on four feet, with two foliage, shell and scroll bracket handles, gadrooned shell and foliage rim and domed cover with detachable acathus foliage and regimental badge handle, the plain liner with two shell handle, the hourglass pattern ladle engraved with the badge of the Coldstream Guards and with a later inscription, the tureen engraved with regimental badges and a later inscription, the tureen marked under body, on cover and handle calyx, the handle unmarked, the ladle marked on reverse - 17in.
