A similar example but with a slightly flaring rim, from the National Palace Museum, Taipei, is illustrated in Underglaze Red Ware of the Ming Dynasty, pl.5; another from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, is illustrated in Oriental Ceramics, Kodansha Series, vol.II, pl.215; a third is illustrated in Mayumama, Seventy Years, vol.I, fig.729. Cf, also one in the Shanghai Museum in Underglaze Blue and Red, pl.40, where the peony scroll decorates the interior and the lotus scroll the exterior and the key-pattern below the rim has been omitted, and the example in Mayumama, Seventy Years, vol.1, no.730, where the interior decoration comprises mixed floral stems instead of continuous meander
